Georgia will host a multinational military training entitled "Worthy Partner 2020" on September 7-18, the local bureau of Report says, referring to the country's Defense Ministry.

More than 2,700 servicemen from the United States, Britain, Poland, and France, along with Georgia, will take part in the US-backed activity at the Vaziani and Norio landfills near Tbilisi.

The practice will involve the armored vehicles and artillery systems of the Georgian Defense Forces and US aircraft and armored vehicles. The combined maneuvers will take place in the team, headquarters, and field conditions.

The purpose of the exercises is to increase the readiness of the armed forces of Georgia, US, and partner countries, as well as to strengthen the Black Sea region's stability and security.

All recommendations and guidelines will be followed to prevent the spread of coronavirus during training planning and preparation.
