Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who went on a hunger strike in prison, began to eat food, in particular honey and drink natural juices.
As reported by the local bureau of Report, this is stated in the message of the Special Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
“Saakashvili had an access to various products in prison, including natural juices and honey. He began to eat food, including honey and drink natural juice, which suggests that one way or another the body does not face the danger of exhaustion," the press service quotes the head of the Special Penitentiary Service, Nika Tskhvarashvili.
