The number of people infected with coronavirus in Georgia has increased to 214, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.

According to the website for monitoring the disease, Georgia has confirmed 208 cases of the novel coronavirus. Fifty infected patients have now recovered and undergo self-isolation. Three patients have died from coronavirus. Currently, 4682 people are kept in a 14-day mandatory quarantine, while 375 patients remain under observation in hospitals.”

The Georgian authorities declared a state of emergency until April 21 due to the spread of coronavirus, as well as imposed a general quarantine and curfew from 21.00 to 6.00. People over 70 years old must not leave their homes except for going to the nearest grocery store or pharmacy. The country also set up military checkpoints in the major cities.
