Georgia and Hungary ink several cooperation agreements

The second meeting of the Georgian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission was held in Budapest, co-chaired by the prime ministers of Georgia and Hungary, Irakli Kobakhidze and Viktor Orban.
Report informs that the meeting, attended by members of the cabinets of ministers of the two countries, discussed the potential for further deepening inter-sectoral relations.
The importance of developing cooperation in areas such as energy and communications, environment and agriculture, defense, law enforcement, justice, healthcare, education and culture was noted.
Kobakhidze noted the importance of further deepening trade and economic relations in addition to political relations. According to the Georgian prime minister, there is good dynamics in this area, but at the same time, there is potential for growth.
Within the framework of the Georgia-Hungary intergovernmental summit, agreements were signed between the two countries on cooperation in the fields of environmental protection, agriculture, innovation, and sports. Cabinet members of the two countries signed the documents. The prime ministers signed the declaration of the summit.
