FM: Iran, Russia may ink agreement on strategic partnership in April

Iran and Russia may sign an agreement on the strategic partnership in April, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is visiting Moscow, said at the meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Report informs.

He said that the relations between the two countries are developing on the right track: “High-level delegations meet at different levels and discuss various issues. The leaders of both countries are in constant direct contact.”

According to the minister, the strategic partnership agreement can be signed next month: “We are in the last stage.”
