Father of girl who started shooting at gymnasium, female security guard detained in Russia’s Bryansk

The head of a private security organization, a female security guard at Russia’s Bryansk gymnasium, and the father of the girl who started shooting there, have been detained, law enforcement agencies told TASS, Report informs.

“The girl’s father was detained as part of a case under Article 224 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (careless storage of weapons). The general director of a private security organization and a female school security guard were also detained in connection with the shooting,” the source noted.

They are now being interrogated; prior to this, searches were carried out at a private security company. Witness testimony confirms that the metal detector frame at the school was not working.
