European diplomat who helped corrupt official flee Armenia detained

Deputy head of the North Macedonian representation in OSCE Mile Milenkovski has been detained in Serbia attempting to cross the Presevo border checkpoint from Serbia to North Macedonia on August 27.

Report informs, citing the Alsat-M TV channel of North Macedonia, that the Serbian Foreign Ministry confirmed the fact.

In 2018, three North Macedonian diplomats led by Milenkovski helped an unnamed representative of Armenia's former government, who was accused of corruption and grand theft to flee Armenia.

Investigation into the criminal case is underway.
