EU Integration Action Plan of Georgia adopted

The National EU Integration Action Plan of Georgia for 2022 has been adopted, Report informs.

The document was approved at the 61st meeting of the Georgian government's commission on EU integration, chaired by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
The meeting discussed new realities and prospects after Georgia's official application for EU membership. Thus, after the submission of the appeal, Georgian-EU relations have entered a new phase, and the country continues to implement reforms successfully.

At the meeting, it was decided to establish permanent working groups to implement the questionnaires received from the EU within the commission. In addition, the process of individual dialogue with EU member states will be intensified.

Garibashvili signed an application for EU membership on March 3. The union has adopted the document, and the issue has already been discussed in the European Commission.
