Erdoğan: Those who spoke about human rights were dumb, deaf and blind in respect of events in France

Baku. 10 December. REPORT.AZ/ "Those who spoke about human rights and defended people who took part in Gezi Park protests in Istanbul, were dumb, deaf, blind in respect of protests in France and the Netherlands," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said.

Report informs that he spoke at the event titled "Culture of Humanity" and "Hope for Humanity: Turkey" on the occasion of the World Human Rights Day held at the headquarters of the Justice and Development Party.

"You have raised the world in Gezi events. Now do the same thing. But they did not do the same, they did not cover the events. Since they are not sincere and honest," Erdoğan said.

He noted that today, those, who say Turkey has no democracy and freedom, are facing the trial: "No one can teach democracy to Turkey.  The inner face of Europe that it hides under the mask of culture has already been exposed."
