The second group of rescuers began climbing the Klyuchevskoy volcano in Kamchatka, where six tourists died on September 3. Two more died on September 5 night, according to the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region, Report informs referring to TASS.

At the same time, the first group of rescuers - the search and rescue team of the Regional State Public Institution "Center for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Fire Safety in the Kamchatka Territory" - continues to rise to the same height.

A group of 10 hikers and two guides set out on the trek on August 30. On September 3, nine people began climbing the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano, three remained in the camp at an altitude of 3,300 meters.

Six tourists who climbed the volcano were reported dead; on September 5 morning the death toll increased to eight. The fate of the rest is unknown. On September 4, rescuers made three attempts to land from a helicopter on the volcano, but adverse weather conditions prevented him from landing there.
