The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has recently increased across Georgia. Of the cases confirmed since testing began, 57 percent of patients were between the ages of 18 and 59. Thirty-five percent of the patients were 60 or older.

Georgia has already confirmed 81 cases of COVID-19 in the country.

According to the information, 4,427 people are in quarantine, while 257 receive inpatient treatment.

Thirteen people infected with COVID-19 have recovered in the neighboring country. At present, the number of patients contracted the virus is 68.

So far, COVID-19 is affecting 199 countries and territories around the world.

On March 11, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11.
