Twenty people died in a fatal road accident in the Derik district of Turkiye's Mardin province, Report informs via Turkish media.
Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu visited Mardin after the accident.
"The incident is being investigated in all its details; all possibilities will be evaluated," Soylu said.
The accident was caused by the collision of several cars, including a truck.
A trailer's brake did not work, and it crashed into cars and then ran over people on the side of the road.
Earlier, at least 15 people died and 22 were injured in a road accident on the Gaziantep-Nizip road in Turkiye's southeast.
