British-Canadian political scientist criticizes USAID chief: Armenian economy growth related to re-export of Western goods

British and Canadian political scientist of Ukrainian origin Taras Kuzio has criticized USAID Director Samantha Power for incompetence in matters related to the economic development of Armenia, Report informs.

Samantha Power in her X account congratulated Armenia on its economic growth, pointing out that after the Velvet Revolution of 2018 it amounted to 30%.

"Samantha Power needs to replace her research team. This is not due to indigenous economic growth in Armenia but because Armenia has been a leading country in the re-export of Western goods to Russia.

One has to therefore ask why a US official is congratulating Armenia on breaking Western sanctions?" Kuzio wrote on X.
