Assailant of Azerbaijan's embassy in Iran sentenced to death

The individual who carried out an armed attack on Azerbaijan's embassy in Tehran has been sentenced to capital punishment, Report informs citing, Azerbaijan Television (AzTV).

It has been reported that the verdict regarding Yasin Huseynzada has been confirmed by Iran's Supreme Court.

It is not known when the death sentence will be executed.
