Armenian MP: Our military personnel may return soon

Armenian military personnel detained during the anti-terrorism measures carried out in December 2020 in the Hadrut direction, and at various times at the border, may return to Armenia in the coming days, Sarkis Khandanyan, a deputy from the Civil Contract faction and the head of the commission on foreign relations, told reporters in parliament, Report informs citing Sputnik Armenia.
"I think their return is a matter of a few days or even hours," the parliamentarian said.
According to him, the exchange of military personnel can take place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
The MP expressed hope that yesterday's decision will be another incentive to speed up the process of concluding a peace treaty.
