Armenian media: Pashinyan's coronavirus infection raises doubts

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's regular infection with coronavirus is being actively discussed in political circles. It has led to some doubts, Armenia's Hraparak newspaper wrote, Report informs.

"If Pashinyan's illness, as announced by the Prime Minister's Office, is asymptomatic, the question arises: why did he think he was infected with the coronavirus and get tested? Is Pashinyan being examined without any reason and consulting doctors?" the newspaper wrote.

According to one version, Pashinyan is either avoiding an undesirable foreign trip, or according to another version, the reason is the celebration of Army Day, Hraparak wrote. An event with the war veterans is scheduled for January 28 at the Sports and Concert Complex. Hraparak stressed that they tried to create impressive scenes with the participation of Nikol Pashinyan, but the participants did not agree. The Prime Minister of Armenia, in turn, does not consider it suitable to participate in an "ordinary" event without a show.
