An Armenian citizen selling a large number of counterfeit excise stamps has been detained in Georgia, Report informs, citing the Investigation Service of the Georgian Finance Ministry.

The investigation revealed that the detainee sold 3,051 counterfeit excise stamps for labeling alcoholic beverages in Tbilisi for USD 2,700.

The investigation is underway. The Armenian citizen may face 4 to 6 years in prison.
