As of June 9 in the morning, 13,675 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Armenia. The number of infected in one day has grown by 350, Report says.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country, 4,451 people have recovered. Currently, 8,933 are getting treatment.

The total death toll 217, as 6 fell victim to the virus over the past day.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in China’s Hubei province in 2019, and the virus has spread to 212 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 7,2 mln globally, resulting in more than 3,4 mln recoveries and over 408 thousand deaths.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
