Iran, UAE mull co-op prospects

Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has met with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his visit to Tehran to attend the funeral ceremony for the deceased President Ebrahim Raisi, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Report informs referring to TASS.

“The policy of détente in relations with neighboring countries will remain the main and strategic priority of the Islamic Republic in regional cooperation,” Kani was quoted as saying in the telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan also expressed condolences to the government and people of Iran over the death of Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
