240 people were injured during the protests in Tbilisi, 102 of them remain in hospital.

Report informs citing 1tv that first Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia Zaza Bokhua visited the Ingorokva clinic to see the victims injured in the protest.

According to him, the condition of one of the victims remains severe, two are undergoing surgery.

"This institution received 46 patients, 35 were discharged, 11 patients remain in the hopital. We deal with different types of injuries.

"Moreover, we had to remove the eyes of two victims of the protest outside the parliament building in Tbilisi.

"In total, 240 patients were admitted to the hospital, including 80 police officers. At present, two operations are underway. The state of one patient is stably severe."
