16 people detained at two protests in Yerevan

A total of 16 people were detained at two protest rallies that took place yesterday in Yerevan, Report informs via Armenian media.
Eleven people were detained near the Armenian government building, and five were detained near the Russian Embassy in Yerevan.
Earlier it was reported that 500 protesters gathered at the government building. They chanted anti-government slogans. Clashes broke out between them and the police, resulting in 34 injuries, including 16 police officers.
Another group of protesters completely blocked the building of the Russian Embassy in Yerevan, following which the diplomatic mission sent a note to the Armenian Foreign Ministry asking to take action.
