Twelve civilians were killed and 13 others injured as a result of a rocket attack on Ukraine's Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, Report informs, citing Ukrinform.

"The enemy struck the district twice from Grad MLRS, firing 80 rockets at residential neighborhoods. [The enemy] launched deliberate and insidious strike when people were sleeping in their homes. Marhanets and Myrove community came under fire," Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

"Consequently, 11 people were killed, and 13 more were injured. More than 20 apartment blocks, an administrative services center, a palace of culture, a dormitory, two schools, a building of the town council, and several other administrative premises were damaged. One woman was killed in Vyshchetarasivka, Myrove community. Her house was completely destroyed by an enemy shell. A married couple was injured. A woman was hospitalized with injuries. Doctors assess her condition as moderate. The man is treated at home. Eleven private houses and gas pipelines were damaged in the village. Up to 1,000 people have been left without gas," he added.
