Wildfire in Los Angeles County exceeds 1,300 hectares

The area of a large wildfire in Los Angeles County, US, has reached 1,344 hectares, with containment remaining at zero percent, Report informs via the California Fire Department.

"Fire in (the area of) Palisades... Acres: 2,921 (1,182 hectares). Containment - 0%... Fire in Eaton Canyon... Acres: 400 (about 162 hectares). Containment - 0%," reads the message.

According to the monitoring service PowerOutage.us, at least 220,000 residents of Los Angeles County, which represents 6.7% of the county's population, have lost electricity due to the fires.
