US State Department says military support to Ukraine to continue

"The US Department of Defense will expand military training for Ukrainian servicemen," US State Department spokesman Ned Price has said, Report informs citing Ukrinform.

"The United States, along with its allies and partners, will continue to coordinate the supply of additional heavy weapons and spare parts from other countries," he said.

The official statement also said that the US military support to Ukraine will continue.

"In total, Washington is planning to allocate over $713 million. It is intended for Ukraine, 15 other countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. More than $322 million of the sum has been allocated to Ukraine."

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin visited Kyiv on April 24. They met with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
