US issues visa to Russian FM to participate in UN General Assembly

The US has issued visas to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and a number of accompanying persons to participate in the UN General Assembly, Report informs referring to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry added that they are waiting for the issuance of visas to the rest of the delegation members and the solution of logistical issues.

“We expect the issuance of visas to the rest of the delegation members, as well as the prompt resolution of logistics issues, given the illegal sanctions restrictions by the US, blocking the logistics issues of the arrival of Russian representatives to participate in the UN General Assembly,” the statement said.
