US daily coronavirus tally exceeds 19 thousand

More than 19 thousand have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past day in the United States, while about 300 people died.

According to the Johns Hopkins University, 19,532 were recorded in the last 24 hours, while the day before this figure was 25,540. 296 fell victim to the virus, the day before 767 patients died with COVID-19. According to the University, the US has so far confirmed over 2 million cases of coronavirus infection, and its death toll exceeds 115 thousand. While more than 561 thousand people have recovered.

By the latest data from Hopkins University, confirmed coronavirus cases had exceeded 7 million globally. More than 3.7 million people recovered, resulting in at least 433,000 deaths.
