US, Chinese presidents to hold phone talk

US President Donald Trump plans to have a phone conversation with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, at the end of this week, US leader told journalists at the White House, Report informs.
"I will probably talk with President Xi over the weekend," Trump said while commenting on the trade agreements reached between the US and China.
On May 12, the US and China agreed to mutually reduce tariffs for a period of 90 days.
Speaking after the conclusion of negotiations in Geneva, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent noted that Washington will reduce tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30%, while Beijing will reduce them from 125% to 10% under the agreement.
