UN chief calls on international community to learn from mistakes of current pandemic

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on all countries to learn from the mistakes in countering the COVID pandemic, Report informs citing TASS.

“COVID-19 will not be the last pandemic we face. But it can be the last one we fail,” he tweeted. “We need a modern and funded pandemic preparedness architecture that can prevent the mistakes the world is making now from ever happening again.”
