Ukrainian presidential office: We agree on neutral status

"We agree on a neutral status, but we are demanding serious security guarantees," Deputy Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Ihor Zhovkva said in an interview with CNN, Report informs, citing UNIAN.

"Zelensky is ready for direct talks with his counterpart Putin. However, there will be no concessions during the talks. No progress was made at the trilateral meeting in Antalya on March 10. The cessation of the hostilities, the declaration of a ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Russian troops from Ukraine depend on only one person - Putin. Although Zelensky is ready for a diplomatic solution, we have not received the consent from Putin or his advisers," he noted.

Ihor Zhovkva said that the agreements reached are not being implemented. “The latest opinion we have heard from Russians is to continue discussions between the delegations. However, the agreements reached so far are not being implemented."
