Two killed as cable car breaks on Elbrus

In Kabardino-Balkaria, two people died after a single-seat cable car broke on Mount Elbrus.

According to Report, the incident was confirmed on Friday by the regional governor, Kazbek Kokov.

Rescue teams are working at the scene and evacuating the victims" bodies.

"Preliminarily, the cause of the accident was the rope slipping off the roller of one of the supports. All circumstances of the incident will be determined by the relevant authorities," the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.
