Former US President Donald Trump said he might consider American television journalist Tucker Carlson as a potential vice president if he wins the nomination for the 2024 presidential election, Report informs referring to TASS.
"I think I'd say I would, because he's got great common sense," Trump said in an excerpt from an interview with the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton radio show that was posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The former US leader also said he could consider one of those candidates who are currently running for president from the Republican Party on his VP list.
In August, Carlson, a former Fox News host, taped an interview with Trump and released it on his page on X. The post has been viewed 266 million times.
