US President Donald Trump said he had expected to be able to halt the Russia-Ukraine war because of his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, only to be disappointed.
"But he's let me down. He's really let me down," he said of Putin during a press conference with UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer.
The US president added that he thought markets could put pressure on Putin.
"If the price of oil comes down, Putin's going to drop out. He's going to have no choice. He's going to drop out of that war," Trump said.
