Trump asks Biden not to fall asleep at meeting with Putin

Former President Donald Trump on June 10 wished President Biden luck in his upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin - and also encouraged him to stay awake, Report informs referring to the New York Post.

“Good luck to Biden in dealing with President Putin—don’t fall asleep during the meeting, and please give him my warmest regards!” Trump said in an emailed statement.

Trump nicknamed Biden “Sleepy Joe” during last year’s presidential campaign and repeatedly claimed he was in mental decline.

The meeting between Putin and Biden will take place on June 16 in Geneva. The Kremlin said that the presidents intend to discuss Russian-US relations, strategic stability, as well as the fight against COVID-19 and the settlement of regional conflicts.
