Seoul ready to resume dialogue with Pyongyang without preconditions

South Korea is ready for negotiations with North Korea without preconditions, as previously announced at the summit of Seoul, Washington and Tokyo, according to the Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea, Report informs referring to TASS.

“The government maintains the position that it is ready to resume dialogue without preconditions, as announced at the ROK-US-Japan summit,” said Unification Ministry Deputy Spokesperson Kim In-ae. She added that the government is closely monitoring ‘specific aspects’ and is ready to respond to them.

In addition, Kim In-ae expressed hope that Pyongyang will make the “right choice” - not to violate UN Security Council resolutions.
