Russia excluded from UN World Tourism Organization

The General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization voted by a majority vote to suspend Russia's membership in the organization, Report informs citing the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure.
“I am grateful to all the states that supported Russia's expulsion. By this decision, the tourism industry of the Russian Federation will be thrown back in development for decades,” said Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Forty countries voted for Russia's exclusion, and eleven voted against it.
Against the decision were: Syria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Nicaragua, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Korea, China and Egypt.
