Representatives of left-wing movements in the United States staged riots after President Joseph Biden's inauguration in two major cities on the west coast of the United States-Seattle and Portland, Report mentions, citing TASS.

In Seattle, protesters gathered in the city center, smashed an Amazon store and a courthouse, and burned the American flag. According to Fox News, citing eyewitnesses, the pogrom was organized by representatives of radical left-wing movements, including anti-fascists. Police arrested two people for breaking and causing property damage.

Representatives of radical left-wing movements also staged riots in Portland. The protesters were shouting slogans that they don't want Biden, they want justice. A group of 150 people trashed the city office of the Democratic Party, smashing windows and painting graffiti on the walls. Police arrived at the scene and detained eight people for participating in riots and arson, after which the protesters dispersed.

In another part of Portland, a crowd threw rocks and bottles at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement building. According to police, some of the protesters were seen carrying stun guns, shields, and gas canisters. They also shouted slogans indicating their affiliation with anti-fascist groups and the BLM movement.

Democrat Joseph Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States on January 20.
