Some Republican senators have spoken out against former US President Donald Trump's impeachment, Report mentions, referring to Fox News.
Senator Marco Rubio said that the process of impeachment of Trump in the Senate is nonsense. According to him, even if the former head of state is responsible for the January 6 events at the Capitol, this process will hurt the United States.
Republican Sen. Tom Cotton stated he did not believe the Senate had the constitutional authority to judge Trump after his resignation.
