It could have cost Israel up to $1.3 billion overnight to fend off hundreds of Iranian missiles and drones, former adviser of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for finance, Brigadier General of the Reserve Ram Aminah told Ynet, Report informs.
“Four to five billion shekels ($1–1.3 billion - ed.) overnight,” he commented to reporters on the situation associated with the high cost of activating the Israeli air defense system.
According to Aminah, this amount significantly exceeds what Iran itself paid for the attack. For this reason, the former adviser to the Israeli General Staff called for increasing the country's defense budget.
