Russia and China are developing cooperation, including military-technical cooperation, but "this is not a military alliance," Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Russia-24 TV, Report informs via TASS.
"This is absolutely not true," the head of state replied to the question of whether Moscow-Beijing cooperation poses a threat to the West.
“We are not creating any military alliance with China. Yes, we also have cooperation in the field of military-technical collaboration, we do not hide it, but it is transparent, there is nothing secret,” Putin said.
According to him, Moscow is also developing military cooperation with Beijing, including holding joint exercises. "By the way, not only with China, but also with other countries. We are still continuing, despite the events in the Donbas, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. We are continuing everything, it's all transparent, but this is not a military alliance," concluded the president.
