President of Lithuania unexpectedly arrives in Kyiv

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has arrived in Kyiv. He will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

In Kyiv, the president of Lithuania will also take part in the events on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine.

During a meeting with Zelenskyy, he will discuss the agenda of the NATO summit in Vilnius, which will be held on July 11-12. The leaders will also pay attention to negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU, assistance from Lithuania and the European Union.

The president of Lithuania arrived in Kyiv from The Hague, where support for Ukraine was discussed. From Kyiv, Nauseda will travel to Brussels, where the meeting of the Council of European Leaders will start on June 29.
