Protesting Polish farmers threw eggs at the representative office of the European Commission (EC) in Wroclaw, Report informs referring to foreign media.

Since the morning, a protest rally by farmers has been taking place in Wroclaw, one of whose demands is to stop the import of agricultural products from Ukraine into the EU. Protesters brought about 500 pieces of equipment, mostly tractors, to the city center.

The protesters demand a meeting with representatives of the EC, but no one can leave the building, as eggs were thrown at the facade, and tires were also burned.

Polish-Ukrainian relations have become significantly more complicated due to the embargo on Ukrainian grain. On September 15, 2023, the EC decided not to extend restrictions on the import of four types of Ukrainian agricultural products into several EU border countries, but obliged Kyiv to introduce export control measures.
