Poland sends up to 10,000 soldiers to border with Belarus

Poland moved up to 10,000 additional troops to the border with Belarus to support the Border Guard, Maciej Wonsik, Deputy of Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland, said in an interview with Polish Radio, Report informs.
“We have strengthened the border a lot. The fence we build is very important and it helps us a lot. In addition, there are 10,000 soldiers there - 6,000 of them are in camps, and 4,000 are directly on the border. In addition, there are 5,000 border guards and about 1,000 police officers,” he said.
