Poland has no intention to send troops to Ukraine — PM

Warsaw is not going to deploy its troops in Ukraine, and it is its final decision, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in a broadcast by the TVP Info channel, Report informs via TASS.

"Yes," he said, replying to the host’s question as to whether the decision by the Polish authorities is final and not subject to any reconsideration. According to the Polish prime minister, Warsaw is not being pressured on this issue by its Western partners and the US is also aware of Poland’s stance.

"[US Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg] heard immediately from all my European partners that this is not true (the plan to station the Polish contingent on the demarcation line in Ukraine - TASS). Chancellor Merz, President Macron, Premier Starmer reacted immediately because for them it was an unquestionable condition," Tusk emphasized.
