Poland: Five killed after gas explosion hit residential building

Five people were killed in a gas explosion in a residential building in Silesia Province of Poland, Silesia voivode Jarosław Wieczorek told journalists.

Report informs citing RIA Novosti that a day before, a gas explosion had hit a residential building where nine people lived

"I have bad news. Another body has been found recently," Wieczorek said.

According to him, the rescue operation will be conducted until they're quite sure that there are no people left under the rubble.

He noted that about 200 rescuers worked at the scene in difficult conditions.
