Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has expressed her desire to visit Ukraine, which could take place in early 2023, Report informs referring to Italian TV channel Rai.
“I would like to make this trip in the first months of next year,” she said in an interview when asked about a possible visit to Kyiv.
The head of the Italian government also announced a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the near future.
“I need to hear Zelenskyy, our diplomatic missions are on the line so that the call will take place before Christmas,” she added.
