Picket staged at US Embassy in Moldova in anticipation of Blinken's visit

A group of young people held a protest at the US Embassy in Moldova, where they are expecting a visit from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, one of the action organizers said.

Report informs via TASS that the activists brought with them posters with the inscription "Blinken go home". They tore up the US flag in front of the embassy and poured beet juice on themselves in protest. The police did not interfere with their actions.

Blinken will pay a one-day visit to Moldova on Wednesday. He has a scheduled meeting with the country's top officials, as well as a joint press conference with President Maia Sandu.
