Norway to provide almost $93M in aid to Ukraine for air defense systems

Norway is allocating almost $93 million to help Ukraine in the field of air defense, the Norwegian government said on July 11, Report informs referring to Interfax.
“Norway is providing an additional approximately $92.9 million to finance the operation of air defense systems in Ukraine,” the government press release states.
It is noted that the funds are allocated within the Norwegian program to support Ukraine. The program provides for the provision of up to $371.5 million to Ukraine for air defense in 2024.
The statement also notes that Norway is sending funds through third countries to help Ukraine repair and maintain air defense systems.
