Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump after meeting with US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff, according to Netanyahu's Office, Report informs.
"Netanyahu met with Witkoff today. After that, the Prime Minister spoke with US President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister thanked the President for his help in freeing Israeli soldier Edan Alexander," the office said.
It was also noted that "the US President reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Israel and expressed his desire to continue close cooperation with the Prime Minister."
