Militants kill 20 people in Somalia

Baku. 7 March. REPORT.AZ/ More than 20 people were killed, nearly 9 injured as a result of attack by al-Shabaab militants on a detachment of national security forces in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, Report informs citing the Gulf News.

The incident occurred near the presidential Palace in Central Mogadishu.

The government issued a statement promising to intensify efforts to combat extremists.
