The Moldovan Foreign Ministry will expel an employee of the Russian Embassy due to the functioning of polling stations in the unrecognized Transnistria during the presidential elections, Report informs referring to TASS.

In this regard, Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov has been summoned to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu promised that the country’s government would report on response measures.

According to media reports, 46,179 Russians voted in the Russian presidential elections in the unrecognized Transnistria. Polling stations were opened in Tiraspol, Bendery, Grigoriopol and Rybnitsa.
